PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

CureCem-Shield 2506 is a concentrated wax-based curing compound supplied in a high-solids concentrate form. It is diluted at site before application, making it more economical to transport and store — particularly for large projects and export supply where reducing logistics cost is important.

Once correctly diluted, CureCem-Shield 2506 performs the same as a standard ready-to-use wax curing compound — forming a white film that retains moisture in freshly placed concrete. It is white pigmented and suitable for hot and tropical climatic conditions.

Conforms to IS 9862 and ASTM C-309 when used at the recommended dilution ratio.

Method of Use

Method of Use

  • Dilute CureCem-Shield 2506 with clean water at ratio 1:1 or 1:2 as per ambient temperature and site conditions

  • Mix the diluted solution thoroughly before application

  • Apply when surface water sheen has just disappeared from freshly placed concrete

  • Apply using a pressure sprayer for uniform coverage

  • Ensure complete and continuous film — no gaps

  • A second coat may be applied in very hot or exposed conditions

  • Do not dilute more than the recommended ratio — over-dilution will reduce performance

Storage Instructions

  • Store concentrate in original sealed containers in a cool, shaded area

  • Do not freeze — freezing will damage the emulsion

  • Diluted product should be used on the same day — do not store diluted solution

  • Shelf life of concentrate is 12 months from date of manufacture

  • Keep containers tightly closed when not in use

CureCem-Wax 2402 is a wax-based, white-pigmented concrete curing compound. When applied to freshly

placed concrete, it forms a continuous white film that seals the surface and prevents moisture from

evaporating during the critical curing period.

The white pigment reflects sunlight, helping to keep the concrete surface cooler — especially useful in hot

and sunny conditions. The white film also acts as a visual guide, showing workers which areas have

already been treated.

CureCem-Wax 2402 replaces traditional curing methods like water ponding and wet gunny bags, saving
