CureCem-Resin 2401 is a resin-based concrete curing compound that forms a thin, transparent film on freshly placed concrete surfaces. It retains moisture during the critical curing period while allowing the concrete surface to remain fully receptive to subsequent finishes such as tiles, plaster, paint, or flooring systems.

Unlike wax-based curing compounds, the resin film in CureCem-Resin 2401 degrades naturally over a few weeks — eliminating the need for mechanical removal before applying finishes. This makes it the ideal choice for all building construction where tiling or plastering will follow.

Conforms to IS 9862 and ASTM C-309 Type 1.

Method of Use

  • Apply when the surface water sheen has just disappeared from the freshly placed concrete

  • Stir container before use

  • Apply using a pressure sprayer or roller — ensure uniform continuous coverage

  • A single coat is sufficient under normal conditions

  • Apply a second coat in very hot, windy, or exposed conditions

  • Keep foot traffic off the treated surface until the film is fully dry — usually 1 to 3 hours

  • No removal needed before applying tiles, plaster, or paint — film degrades naturally

  • Columns, beams, and walls requiring plaster or paint after curing

  • Residential, commercial, and institutional building construction

  • Suitable for all surfaces where subsequent bonding of finishes is required

  • Not recommended for road surfaces or exposed outdoor pavements — use CureCem-Wax for those

  • Store in original sealed containers away from direct sunlight and heat

  • Do not freeze — freezing affects the resin emulsion

  • Store between 5°C and 40°C

  • Shelf life is 12 months from date of manufacture

  • Keep containers sealed when not in use

  • Wash skin with soap and water after use

  • Rinse eyes with clean water if contact occurs

CureCem-Wax 2402 is a wax-based, white-pigmented concrete curing compound. When applied to freshly

placed concrete, it forms a continuous white film that seals the surface and prevents moisture from

evaporating during the critical curing period.

The white pigment reflects sunlight, helping to keep the concrete surface cooler — especially useful in hot

and sunny conditions. The white film also acts as a visual guide, showing workers which areas have

already been treated.

CureCem-Wax 2402 replaces traditional curing methods like water ponding and wet gunny bags, saving
